We woke up a bit late after a solid night of R n' R and before we hit the road AT took us to an amazing breakfast/lunch spot called Aldo's by the sea. You can check it out on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives from the Food Network. The Crab benny is pictured bottom left, The Pigeon Whisperer is pictured bottom right.

The drive in to Tehachapi and Woodward West got damn cold, luckily we had The Goods' and a sick California sunset to keep our spirits up.

The Claw was like a kid in a candy shop as soon as we arrived at Woodward. It hadn't even been ten minutes and he was geared up and ready to shred his 20". Dude just loves bikes.
Jake Kinney is the MTB director at Woodward West and I couldn't think of a better guy for the job. He is super cool, super chill and super welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality Jake.

Being a huge fan of art, I was so stoked to see how they had decorated the blank plywood walls of the skatepark. There is so many super talented artists in the action sports community and it's cool to see Woodward supporting that.
This is what warm up looks like at Woodward West, a game of bump. The games get heated too!
Cam Zink came down from Reno to meet up and chill. Taking a photo of Cam may seem easy because he's cool and fun and all that but, he really, really likes to make stupid faces. This shot took me three hours forty-five to get. He's quick.
If the Claw was captioning this photo it would say "Just feedin' off each other man, havin wobbly-pops and just feedin off each other".
If you notice where Jake Kinney's right foot is planting here, it's about 6" from the top of this wall ride... and he's just chillin makin Cam Zink faces... No biggie.
Mike Mo was stone col' chillin at woodward! Workin on breakin in his new ride. He was with a separate film crew and on a pretty heavy mission so we couldn't shoot much with him but he was sure to let me know he's ready to kill it this season.
Gully makin the best of a hanger session. Dumped-3 over the spine.
Some of the tricks that these guys are throwing - and very close to landing - into the foam are ridiculous. The next few years MTB is gonna see some major progression.
I could watch Jake Kinney ride this park all night. He BOOSTS everything high as f*ck. Invert, box jump, all night.
The sessions ran late and everyone was pinning it. It's hard to peel these guys off their bikes at night. The Claw was boosting these wall slaps like he owned the joint.
If you have been to California then you know that Mexican food is some of the best sh*t available. Chipotle is a pretty good go-to when you don't know the real loc'-dawg joints, and after a day of shredding, burritos are the best.About Us
